Cultural Presentations...An Applause for that...

Different countries...one goal...one direction...
Wow! That is what I can say for the past Inter-Collegiate Cultural Competitions in Angeles University Foundation. This was my first time to watch that one, and I am so much happy for what I have seen.

I did not know that students in AUF would be able to perform just like that. Each presentation were all nice and outstanding.

In the Choir category, I enjoyed much because one of the participants from our college, was my Korean friend, Charles. And, I am so happy that they won as the 1st Runner up. They sang "So happy together". Even if they did not win the first place, for me, they are the Champion because they really have exerted their efforts and they are really in nice rhythm when they performed.
In the Solo Competitions, I really enjoyed listening to the champion, I think she was from the College of Education. I enjoyed because she was very nice when she sang and one more thing, the song that she sang was my favorite.

In the Band Category, I really enjoyed watching because the participants where singing while they are dancing with the music they are playing. This is very nice for our college because we won the Champion's award and our dean was very happy when it was announced.

In the Dance category, even if we did not win the competition I am still very happy because the students were very nice in their presentations. Each college has a country to represent. The champion was the College of Allied Medical Professions who performed and represented China. the College of Arts and Sciences performed and represented the country of Egypt.

I am just sad that my country, Korea, was not one of the countries represented,

To all theose participants and to all those colleges who joined, Congratulations!

My Sad Christmas 2006

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...

I am very sad right now that the 25th of the month of December is already coming. Many people in the whole world are happy because it is the celebration of their Christmas, but me, I am sad because this is the third years that I will be celebrating Christmas far from my families.

Last two years of Christmas, I was also sad because I was not able to celebrate it with my family. I was just staying at our home in Angeles City and watching Christmas movies. Doing that is to escape my sadness for the Christmas. At least by watching those movies, I will some happiness through the characters in the show.

This year is again another sad year. I am sad for I will not be with my family anymore.

I am just becoming happy because this year, I have gained a lot of friends. I have my classmates who are also supportive to me. I have my friends whom I can open myself, whenever problems come to me. I have also my Korean family in the city whom I can have fun and enjoyment. I have my dear professor who always help me in my difficulties. last, I have God who is always guiding me.

I am just hoping that next year, I will be already celebrating Christmas in Korea. Celebrating Christmas with my family.

Thank you for reading my blog. God bless you all, and have a merry and a prosperous Christmas.

Welcome to Electronic Newsroom 2 world

Dare not to read this one.
Whoa! First semester is just done, and now here we are again with Ma'am Virgy's class, but this time, we become more technical and more professional, I suppose.
This is our first day in her class, and we are at the IT Lab, because we will do many computer-aided works here. We will be using the Internet at all times. Unlike last semester, where we only used our pens and papers in writing our horrible news. But now, we are more of a high-tech, as some of my classmates said.
But, I think the computers are not good because they are too slow in responding to our commands. But, of course we can't blame the computers because they are only non-living things.
I just hope that the next day we are going to use the units, they will already bear with us and cooperate with us so we will finish our works on time, so we could still have some break. ehehe.
To all my classmates, good luck to all of us. I hope we will all pass this subject. Just come on time and always attend classes so we will get better grades. Right, Ma'am Virgie?
Thank you so much for giving me the chance to express my self in this on-line journal.
